Our hens have a unique way of carving pumpkins. They aren’t very creative, but it’s the only way they get carved around here. Long after Halloween is over.
SO cute, yet practical! Maybe your feathered gals can come over and carve out my pumpkin -which is awaitng some animation patiently on my stairs. :) All part of the natural process, I'm sure.
LOL! I've been gathering discarded pumpkins along the curb in my daughter's neighborhood to feed to the chickens. It gives them something to do in the cold weather.

That's hilarious! I don't know if ours would peck a pumpkin or not. They are finicky sometimes i.e. spoiled!
Those chickens are no fools. They know that pumpkin seeds are a natural dewormer! I feed pumpkins to my chickens and sheep.
Hey! Shellac those suckers and sell them as “rustic” bird houses!
