THE JACKET PROJECT: conclusion

I have 27 jackets. Too many? Raise your hand if you agree with my husband.

During the duration of this project, Japan experienced a major earthquake, a devastating tsunami, and several nuclear disasters. The United States became involved in a military intervention against Libya. Elizabeth Taylor died. It rained every day in Portland.

I have one teeny tiny confession. There are actually ten more jackets in my closet that were not included because they weren’t photo worthy.

Here’s a little perspective: Imelda Marcos owned 3,000 pairs of shoes.

27 (or 37) jackets... ha, piddly.

Jackets rule!

Carry on.

True, true, it's all relative, and Imelda's shoe collection is a handy comparison for any closet collector to keep at hand.
Maybe there's a few that could trade out, but they are each unique and fulfill their niche requirements. Jackets need love and care! Take one home today! (Oh, I'm getting carried away) :)
It's clear that the world keeps spinning, regardless.

Hi jazgal, I'm so glad you're still here. I was thinking I'd bored everyone to tears with my seemingly never ending jacket collection. Thanks for following it to the end.

Well, a topic dear to my heart, and fun to follow. I am impressed with the scope of the collection, however :)
Plus, cute photos!

I love the pink checked one the best, but the picture with the yellow raincoat is just so great! Love your expression and the reference to the great Audrey Hepburn.

I don't think I've ever owned that many jackets in my lifetime, but I'd like to. :)

I've been buried alive with work on my day job and haven't been around blog reading for a few months. So I got to see your whole jacket style show all at once.

Great fun, wonderful collection, and great photos, too!
