St Paul rodeo, hiking, swimming in a cold mountain lake, more hiking, backyard bbq dinners and good friends. What a great long weekend it was! I hope you all had a fabulous 4th!
Hi Susan! We did a lot of takeout over the weekend. I'd had my fill of cooking the weekend before. Sometimes a break from all those domestic chores is very necessary. Then again if I ate rodeo fare more than once a year, I wouldn't be able to fit into my pants.
Sharon, oh you must go to St. Paul rodeo at least once. We go every year and turn the event into a party. It's a great excuse to put on cowboy boots and a hat, throw down a cold beer and eat some carnival food.
I want to see that blue hat re-knit and felted too! It's getting closer. I need to find a hat form before I felt it though.

Looks like you had a lot more fun than I did on the 4th! Cute cowboys always beat cooking all day!

Ain't that the truth!
Oh those cowboys, they are too cute! I've never seen the St. Paul Rodeo. I bet it would be fun!
p.s. I think I'll follow you for a while because I want to see that blue hat after it's finally re-knit and felted!
