When I came downstairs this morning, this is what I saw...
Maybe she came in to make my breakfast?
Guess not. Looks more like Nelly wants me to serve her breakfast.
Here she’s trying to get the attention of the other hens (still in the yard). Show off!
You can get away with a lot when you’re cute and sweet.

What a beautiful hen! Is she part seabright? And how the heck did she get in the KITCHEN????
My question exactly- how did she get in the kitchen? thanks for the chuckle!
Thank you for your comments! Our chickens are free to roam the yard when we're home, so it's not uncommon that a door gets left open. Most of our hens are not brave enough to venture in, but Nelly is. She loves to check things out.
You're right Mary Ann, Nelly's a buff sebright, and she's a banty, so she's extra tiny.
What a cutie! Checking things out and showing off! Adorable1
And, did you serve her something tasty? (maybe one of your ultra cute Tiny Pies?)
